State Deadlines for the 2026-2027 Voice of Democracy Program are listed below:
1. October 31, 2026 - Student Deadline Entry is at midnight.
2. November 16, 2026 - Post judging completed.
3. December 1, 2026 - District judging completed.
4. December 4, 2026 - District Winner Entry Form, Flash Drive of Essay, Typed Essay,
Head and Shoulders Photo of good quality, District Summary Report and District
Participation Report in the hands of the Department Chairperson.
a. These Items Must Be Mailed. If you have a digital recorded essay, please
download it to a flash drive and mail it, for ease of judging.
DO NOT MAILTO DEPARTMENT HEADQUARTERS.
5. December 11, 2026 - Department judging (Time and location to be announced)
6. January 15, 2027 - Department Winner and Reports submitted to National Headquarters.
7. January 18, 2027 - Annual Voice of Democracy Banquet, Penn Stater Hotel, State College
